I've been meaning to post a few pictures for the last few weeks but things have been pretty crazy with school starting again and trying to remember how to do homework. I'm not a huge fan of online classes, but do enjoy the fact that they let me stay home with my sweet little boy and still work towards finishing my bachelors.
We got to drive down to General Conference at the beginning of April with Jason's sister Cassie. Jason kept Justin so Cassie and I could go to the Saturday Afternoon session and it was absolutely amazing. We sat closer than I've ever been and it was such a beautiful experience being in that giant conference center surrounded by so many people, languages and ages. All of us gathered together to listen to our prophets council and to feel the beautiful spirit that encompasses the entire meeting. Justin actually did pretty good staying in the hotel, and had lots of fun with the pillows that dad stuffed him in. We really enjoyed the trip and were so greatful to get to spend a little more time with Cassie before she left us in search of warmer weather. (Arizona then Hawaii!) We're already missing her so much, but are pretty excited that she'll be going to BYU-Hawaii in July.

The only problem with driving 10 hours round trip to conference, was turning around the next week and spending nearly 32 hours in the car going to Arizona and back. Lets just say Justin was not a fan of his car seat by the end of it.

After about 9 hours in the car, we stopped in Moab, UT to get gas and pull Justin out of his car seat. We didn't realize he'd never really experienced sunshine and warm air, and let me tell you, that was one happy kiddo. He wouldn't stop smiling the whole time, he laughed and giggled at everything he saw. It about broke my heart to buckle him back in.

It was definitely our shortest trip, just a week including all the driving, but it was worth it to get to see family and a little warm weather before starting in on another semester

(Justin and Grandma Weech)

Jason's grandparents live in Thatcher. He was living with them while we were dating down at EAC so it's always fun to get to see them while we're down in Pima.

Justin's cousin Karly (Kristin's little girl) was such a good helper while we were down. She was so good at holding him and keeping him entertained.

Kristin (jason's oldest sister) lives in Virden, NM so we drove out one evening to visit them and see the renovations on their house. Justin loves kids and doesn't get to see a whole lot of them so he pretty much laughed his head off watching Karly and Ky jump around and scream on their parents bed. He's definitely going to be happy when we live closer to all 4 (soon to be 6) of his cousins.

Myke gave me some baby signing time videos while we were down, and Justin absolutely loves watching them. That kid thinks laptops were invented purely for his enjoyment.

We got a couple exercise balls and I was afraid Justin was going to be afraid of them, but he was actually quite in love with them. He especially likes hitting them over and over with his little hands. It never ceases to amaze me what that kid finds entertaining. He's definitely brings so much sunshine into our lives and I'm not quite sure what we'd do without him. It's amazing how one little person can change life so much. I'm not sure how we ever lived without him and the laughter he brings to our little home.
