Sewing Baby Clothes (:

I'm taking a child sewing class and this is what I've made so far...
A little baby hat, booties, and a t-shirt

I picked yellow before I found out what I was having, hoping I could make it gender neutral. It definitely looks like little boy clothes though so I was so excited to find out we're having a boy that can actually wear them!!! (the material has little monkeys wearing blue shirts and says "little monkey")


I made these little pajama pants yesterday, i love the material...but the funny part was our teacher is kind of an older lady and she told us we were making pants, well, when we finished them everyone was trying to figure out why they looked like shorts...well aparently they ARE shorts, she just calls shorts pants also...so they're going to be AZ pajama pants (: (nice and cool) It was fun cause we got to use the double needle to make a double hem on the bottom that looks really nice.

This is the little sleeper I made. It's out of a really soft fluffy flannel and i'm in love with it! There were alot of pieces to it, but it was really fun to see it coming together.

We have a little boy! Most definitely! He wasn't shy at all!!!
This is my favorite picture, they sent us home with a disk of all the pictures they took and some little videos of his heart beating and him waving at his mom and dad. (:

We had our sonogram yesterday at 4pm. I was so scared he wasn't going to cooperate and we weren't going to get to find out, but he is DEFINITELY a boy! He was cooperating very nicely. It was so fun to see him pushing and kicking at her as she invaded his little space with her wand. He kept waving at us and it was obvious he's excited to get out of his cramped little space and start teaching his mom and dad a thing or two. (; Everythings good and healthy. He weighs 12 ounces, which she said was average, but then she said he's in the 95 percentile!!! I'm hoping this altitude we're at pays off finally and brings him a little early!

Jason was absolutely adorable! We've already decided which genes he has from who. Nomatter what he says I have a feeling he's going to be a little Gardner from how much he's pushing and kicking in there...can't stand being confined to a little space!

We're still awed by the fact that everything is going so well. We've truelly been so blessed, and are very grateful for this chance to start our family with this little blessing from heaven. Hopefully everything continues to go well, and we hope everyone else is doing well!

Yellowstone Trip

Mom and Dad came up for the weekend a few weeks ago and we decided to take an overnight trip to Yellowstone while they were here. It's only 2 hours to the West Entrance, so we just drove over Friday night, saw Old Faithful, then drove around all day Saturday. It was absolutely beautiful! I never understood why dad always wanted to go when we were younger, but It's SO amazing! Jason and I had a blast and really enjoyed a break from school while getting to spend time with Mom and Dad. We were a little ahead of the season, as you might notice from the snow, but I loved it cause it wasn't too crowded. Anyways here's some of my favorite pictures...

Old Faithful-it was pretty cool how much water shot out of that thing!

It was so strange that these things just pop out of the ground! There were hundreds of them!!!
The geysers were so amazing! The colors were incredible, and we saw quite a few spouting water out. They smelled pretty intensly like sulfer (i think mom liked it)...but it was so fun, and the steam coming from the was so warm in the freezing cold, i really wanted to just sit in one of them!

The falls were SO amazing! Mom and Dad were absolutely adorable at them! Jason and I were pretty out of it, so I look a little, well, "out of it" in them...but I posted a few anyways. (:

The whole park was amazing, but my favorite park was definitely the buffalo and elk! They were hilarious!!! The buffalo were worse than dogs! They couldn't be less afraid of people, or their cars! They were usually just walking along the side of the road, but I think they got quite a kick out of gathering in the center of the roads and causing pretty good road blocks. A few brave souls (including dad) attempted to herd them out of the way with their vehicles, most people just sat there forever hoping the buffalo would eventually move and let them pass. (due to the tendancy of buffalo to charge people and their cars if provoked) (: It was a rental car though, so dad wasn't too worried.

So that was our yellowstone experience in a nutshell. Definitely our most amazing weekend in Idaho!!! Thanks mom and dad!!!

April Activities

(these are the easter eggs we actually made 2 weeks early cause I was so excited for it :)

Easter weekend was such a blast! It was actually pretending to be spring for a few days(before it started snowing again...)so we decided to go on a picnic to Snake River just down the road...well actually I thought we'd go to the park, but I should have known Jason would find a more interesting place.

This is my adorable husband who carried lunch AND the blanket!!! We walked down quite a ways to find a spot away from all the fishermen, and this is the view from the place we found to eat. It was so nice and peaceful. A perfect Easter Picnic.
I almost didn't know what to do with all the warm sunshine, it felt like we were back in arizona! We layed down and just soaked in as much as we could of it. I was finally starting to love Idaho, i'm not sure where the sun went these last few weeks, but I hope it comes back soon.

Oh and when we were leaving we saw these cute little ducks running around on the bank but they jumped in the water when Jason tried to get close to them...smart little ducks (;

This is what the Easter Bunny brought us...tons of candy! ~thanks isabelle! ;) This should last us atleast until halloween!

Jason had a ton of fun playing with it...The easter bunnies are actually from the day after Easter, I talked Jason into going to walmart with me so we could each get a clearance bunny, aren't they adorable? Easter bunnies are So cute!

...I might have had a little too much fun with mine...the heat from his computer actually melted the bottom off of it...oops. I just wanted to watch a movie with it...I really need a pet, or a baby!

Speaking of the baby, I'm so excited to find out what we're having! Our sonogram is in two weeks and hopefully the little munchkin will cooperate and I'll finally be able to buy my material to make clothes for him or her.

Well, that's about it for april, I actually have some pictures of it snowing and hailing not too long after our warm easter picnic, but they're kinda depressing so I won't post them...(:
